The Illusion Table
A Table Wonder Woman Would Be Proud Of
This is another piece from the &David Store that I thought was amazing and fun. This is called, aptly, The Illusion Table. This piece, of course, would be the perfect piece for Wonder Woman seeing as she has a fetish for all things invisible. I happen to like it, too. I keep thinking that I have never seen clear acrylic treated so artfully. The pleats and wrinkles of the acrylic really mimic those of a tablecloth so artfully as to remind me of Bernini's treatment of cloth. I'm imagining this piece would be extremely fun in rooms where lots of light and color play off of the piece in a way that dissolves the piece completely.
