The Hydro X is a conceptual glamping experience in Portugal. It is the brainchild of design student Catarina Miranda and boasts a luxury-packed private space with amenities reminiscent of a resort. Hydro X aims to provide a comfortable stay for its glamping guests.
Visitors can venture out to VIlarinho das Furnas, Geres, to stay in the floating hut. The habitat combines facets of camping with the luxury of resorts and is named after its setting on the water. Moreover, the conceptual structure takes queues from a cabin living structure, resembling the tiny houses seen in Bali that overlook the ocean.
The designer revealed some aspects of the structure's design, such as an open deck, a large skylight, and a solar panel on both sides of its triangular roof.
