Brazilian architect Alan Chu has just created a colorfully disguised storefront for The Gourmet Tea. The Gourmet Tea is a Brazilian tea brand, known for its colorful packaging and organic teas. Alan Chun decided to play off of the brand's love for bright colors, creating a storefront that is filled with color and creativity.
When closed, The Gourmet Tea's shop looks to be nothing more than a series of colorful wall panels. That all changes when the panels are unfolded and the counter is brought out. The walls and the counter unfold and pull out, revealing a compact, street-side shop. The entire design of the store is about saving space and secrecy; even the sign is hidden behind a beige flap.
