The Garden Corner has recently unveiled an amazing feat: the largest free-standing hanging flower basket in the world. Built in Tualatin, Oregon, it celebrates the happy fact that this state is the top exporter of nursery products in the United States and happens to be the one of the best places in the world to grow plants.
Weighing two tons when filled with soil and plants, The Garden Corner's largest hanging flower basket measures 16 feet high and 10 feet wide. It was constructed locally in the Pacific Northwest. John Karsseboom, the builder of the basket, says, "What sparked the idea is like all the other ideas, is just a Google search at 2 in the morning: What would that look like?"
