Moooi Introduces the Drape Light Designed by Jamie Wolfond

Lifestyle imprint Moooi shines a spotlight on its latest product in the form of the Drape Light -- a dynamic and geometric lighting solution created by Canadian designer Jamie Wolfond. The system brings attention to the way that the various materials work with one another.

It is created with a 3D-knitted polyester shade that rests on top of two glass tubes of light to bring a soft illumination where the elements meet. The sweeping structures of the shade hang down from the rubes are cascade into a darker hue where the light isn't reached. Overall, it has an industrial language with a flowing and organic shape of its knitted element. The warm glow of the lamp creates a very serene and tranquil ambiance.
