The Coat Rack's Barometric Display Picks Out Weather-Appropriate Coats
'The Coat Rack' takes computer intelligence to a personal level by telling the owner which coat to wear on a traditional barometric scale. Inspired by the days before LCD screens were everywhere, designer Blair Ross put a barometer on a coat rack, connected it to the Internet and used the barometric scale to show which coat is the most appropriate to wear. The information is displayed in an analogue way but through a digital barometer. The Coat Rack uses the Internet (wirelessly of course) to check the weather for the barometer to record.
