This packaging for mince pies from The Butler's Pantry presents homemade treats in a contemporary way, with a good dose of humor on the side.
In developing the look of these holiday treat boxes, Brandcentral sought to defy convention and keep the focus on the food instead of anything else. As a result, this was achieved by creating a simple snowflake pattern that looks like polka dots from afar, plus a bold typographic treatment in two alternating warm colors. Although the holiday season is often associated with abundance and more rather than less, this example of festive packaging is quite minimalist and it works. These mince pies are part of The Butler's Pantry's Christmas Collection, which includes other treats like boozy brandy butter, cranberry chutney and mulled wine.
