Three American designers -- Brian Mitchell, Eric Peloquin and Erik Askin -- have designed and developed the 'Bend' moped above. This savvy design is perfect for city commuters and helps to maintain a city's ecological balance.
The 'Bend' moped is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and runs on a 600W brushless electric motor. The moped features a bent lamination plywood piece which connects the seat, storage and LED headlight. 'Bend' was designed for the Seoul Cycle Design Competition 2010.
