Texas Tech Sustainable Cabin Makes a Laboratory of Eco Lodgings

The Texas Tech Sustainable Cabin is one classroom project I would actually consider moving into! Built as a collaboration between architecture, visual arts and engineering students at the university, this prefabricated eco house was made to be an ongoing experiment into efficient and environmentally-friendly living.

As an in-depth study of capacity of solar power, domestic technologies, certain structural materials and building costs, the Texas Tech Sustainable Cabin will teach architects and engineers how best to design effective eco dwellings.
