DIY Tetris Ties

The 'LED Tetris Tie' Lets You Walk Around While Displaying a Game of Tetris

Helping gamers stay entertained at the office, engineer Bill Porter created the LED Tetris Tie. The electronic tie allows you watch an entertaining game of Tetris played out right in front of you. Though the block movements are currently random, Porter is developing control capabilities so that you will be able to play on the tie in the future.

The LED Tetris Tie was conceived after Porter wanted to impress his students at the FSU STEM Camp. In just four hours, he whipped up the tetris tie using LEDs and a DigiSpark microcontroller taped onto a regular cloth tie.

If you want to make a LED Tetris Tie for yourself, you can find the code and designs available for free on Github.
