The DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 will release later this year and hold upto 1TB of your data. Transfer speeds reach up to 240MB/s read and 160MB/s write. This is the kind of USB key that few of us actually need, but it’s still interesting to know it’s out there somewhere if we ever do. It’s the kind of technology that is accessible and necessary for a very small portion of the population, yet is an extraordinary product nonetheless.
The 512GB version is currently available for $1,750, so it stands to reason the one terabyte flash drive will fetch something close to $3,000.
