The conceptual 'Teledining Table' has been designed with busy consumer lifestyles in mind to ensure that even those with increasingly packed schedules can still take time to virtually dine with friends or family.
Designed by Joshua Han, the table works by integrating telepresence technology that is installed into the opposite side of the table. This works to project the person you're virtually dining with and capture your own likeness to be projected by the user on the other side. This ensures that neither party have to dine alone at the end of a long day, even if a large distance is present between them.
The 'Teledining Table' has been created by the designer with a modular aesthetic that will enable the technological components to be replaced as they become outdated to make it more future-ready.
