The Robotic Hawk sits on a wheel base for standard movement, and the arms operate on six-degrees of freedom allowing the Hawk to perform a multitude of tasks (whatever you’d like to teach it).
Rocking an animated head strapped with dual cameras, an indoor GPS system and various sensors, the Robotic Hawk can identify the layout of the house including obstacles.
The Robotic Hawk was created by a Canadian based robotics company, Dr. Robot, who stated the goal of the Hawk is a "cost-effective, high performance robots for industrial, commercial and academic end-users alike."
