The NFL set new protocols that need to be followed for the league to reopen team facilities. The league mandated that all 32 teams will need to put the protocols in place before May 15th. The protocols for team facilities contain a number of phases, the first phase will limit the number of non-players at a team facility. AS part of this phase only players are allowed who are rehabbing injuries.
The medical aspects of the protocol include receiving consent to reopen form local government. The team must follow all the guidelines. Each team is required to keep dedicate supplies. A Response team will have a written plan for any cases that may occur. Employees will receive safety training, travel will be restricted, anymore.
The league commissioner, Roger Goodell, released a statement, "We will continue to work in a deliberate and thoughtful way to plan for the 2020 season, including with (Thursday night's) schedule release."
