Peer-to-Peer Coding Workshops

This Organization Gives Kids an Opportunity to Teach Other Kids

'MathAndCoding' is a unique organization that gives kids an opportunity to teach other kids how to code. While there are a number of companies dedicated to teaching young children how to code, MathAndCoding sets itself apart by offering peer-to-peer workshops.

MathAndCoding was started by high school students Vineet Kosaraju and Nikhil Cheerla. The two friends started the organization to provide children with hands-on coding classes taught by their peers. The idea is that the more experienced children have an opportunity to teach other kids how to code by sharing their skills and the less experienced students are able to learn from someone they identify with. As a result, the workshops provide a supportive environment for children who are interested in learning how to code.
