The Tangible Media Group has come up with a way to connect one's smartphone and computer with ease. According to DesignBoom, "the devices act as a physical interface and as an additional graphics layer for near-surface interaction on a computer screen."
Usually, for someone to transfer a folder from one device to the next, email has to be used or even a cloud system for those on Apple systems. With this program however, one simply has to touch their smartphone to the computer screen and drag the items between gadgets. For example, a folder of photos can easily be moved onto one's phone through dragging it from one area to the other. Considering how much of a pain it is to send large files, this could make the transfer of information a lot easier. Photo Credits: designboom, tangible.media.mit.edu
