Takk designed a winter-themed bedroom that features an all-white textile-made igloo. The founders of the Spanish studio designed the igloo for their daughter inside their home in Barcelona. Titled the Winter Bedroom, the structure boasts a self-contained design. It acts as a hideaway space to play and relax.
The igloo boasts a 3.5 meter-high dome that tapers off into a narrow entrance. It is mostly made with repurposed materials from Takk's previous products, including the steel-chain curtain that acts as a door. The igloo is also made with three layers of foam that line the dome's ceilings and its exterior for a plush feel. The winter-themed sleeping quarter maintains a white palette on the inside and outside.
