The winner of the Taiwan Tower Competition for the city of Taichung is this beautiful structure designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects.
Featuring an expanse of greenery at its very top, this building will offer urbanites a welcome retreat from the crowded city below. Its rooftop garden rises above many of the surrounding buildings, creating a gorgeous skyline and view for many of Taichung's residents. As Evolo states, the skyscraper "reintroduces the beauty of nature into the urban fabric."
With an innovative facade that comprises LED lights to recreate the effect of a starry sky or Chinese lanterns, this incredible building must have been a shoe-in for the Taiwan Tower Competition. It also features green elements, including a rainwater harvesting system, solar hot water panels and wind turbines.
