Self-taught artist and designer Kouros Maghsoudi has created the Taarof Table, which is a unique coffee table detailed with discreet compartments for smart storage systems. It is a part of the debut furniture collection by the studio dubbed Mehmooni and the Taarof table is inspired by Persian culture and traditions.
The word Mehmooni translates to 'party' in Farsi which is also the theme for the capsule, bringing togetherness and celebration at the root of the silhouettes backed by contemporary design. Maghsoudi shares, "With its modular features and playful design, the Taarof Table takes the traditional Persian gathering and reinterprets it through a contemporary lens. It’s both a conversation piece and the ultimate party companion, designed to make hosting effortless."
