Nintendo has confirmed the release of a new Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Edition Switch OLED. The new console features art and characters from the new ‘Pokémon Scarlet’ and ‘Pokémon Violet’ games, in addition to a pair of scarlet and violet-colored joy-con controllers. The joy-cons feature emblems from the Naranja and Uva Academies, two institutions for education in the Pokémon universe. The console features purple and red graffiti of the new starter Pokémon Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito.
Additional art includes references to Team Rocket’s counterpart, Team Star. According to Nintendo, other symbols are "ones the player might recognize throughout the game."
The Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Edition Switch OLED will be available in stores and on the My Nintendo Store from November 4 for approximately $359.99.
