Chief horologist Claude Greisler of Armin Strom collaborated with the owner's of the Cognac Gaultier 1762 to let the brand have 40 drops of the extremely limited libation. The drops were then carefully incorporated into the mechanisms of the watches.
While the drop of cognac inside the Swiss timepieces serves no purpose, it enhances the luxurious nature of the watch and offers a conversation topic for the uber-wealthy.
The Armin Strom Cognac Watch is available for preorder with a mere 40 pieces set in existence, but they've all already been spoken for.
