The Swarovski-covered Cadillac CTS Coupe takes automobile "pimping out" to a whole new level. The car, which debuted at the Qingdao International Auto Show in China, is covered in 350,000 Swarovski crystals.
The Swarovski-covered Cadillac CTS Coupe took a team of nine workers one week to finish, with each crystal being mounted onto the car using a special fixer that is said to be resistant to today's ultra powerful car washes. The car easily stole the show and was dubbed the 'Diamond Cadillac' by curious (and more than likely envious) onlookers. Covering cars in Swarovski crystals may very well be the next frontier in the "pimped car" saga. I will not be surprised in the least when spinning rims and tinted windows become replaced by crystal-covered door handles and windshield wipers.
