Sustainable yoga collections are certainly important for consumers who are fans of the sport. In this space, Mandala is a brand that offers functionality and aesthetics, while being mindful of the environment.
In the Spring of 2019, the company began using fabric made out of castor oil. As a result, its sustainable yoga collections rely on a bio-polyamide fabric that is "100% of plant origin." In order to produce this fabric, Mandala worked alongside Italian textile company Brugnoli.
According to its website, Mandala is the first brand to offer sustainable yoga collections that harness the functional and ecological properties of the castor bean plant. The silhouettes remain ultra-light, actively breathable, and comfortable with a four-way-stretch.
