The sustainable offices of the future are going to be extremely different to what people are used to today, that is if designers Sean Cassidy and Joe Wilson have anything to say about it. As winners of Metropolis Magazine's Workplace of the Future 2.0 Design Competition, their sustainable office concept might have a chance of seeing the light of day.
Of course, that would be in the very far future. From outdoor vertical vegetable gardens that people will have to climb to pick food for lunch to augmented reality workstations that operate with hi-tech contact lenses, this sustainable office concept rivals the vision put forth by those behind the movie 'Minority Report.' The designers say, "We wanted to create a place where nature and man had a symbiotic relationship, and a place which promoted healthy living."
