British clothing retailer Topshop is partnering with Reclaim to Wear in order to launch its own sustainable fast fashion line. Following in the footsteps of brands such as H&M, the new line will take a more eco-friendly and ethical approach to design.
The collection is called 'Topshop Reclaim' and it will feature 20 new designs that were made from scrap material such as cotton, jersey and denim. Some of these pieces are wardrobe basics, while others include printed blouses, skirts and button-down dresses. As Head of Technical Services at Topshop, Trish Clarke explains, "We are inspired to challenge textile waste across our product areas, whilst still creating versatile designs."
The sustainable fast fashion collection will be available both in stores and online as of July 16th.
