As someone whose city is on the brink of a major public transportation overhaul, I can't help but wonder if we'll ever get something as nice or eco-friendly as the Suspended Public Transit Concept seen here. Flying a hundred feet above the ground while maneuvering throughout the skyscrapers seems like a fun activity to me.
Designed by Elisa Sayuri Freitas Irokawa, the Suspended Public Transit Concept isn't just a pretty new rail system, it's much more than that actually. The train is completely wind and solar-powered, leaving a pretty small environmental footprint which is very impressive for a transportation device of that magnitude.
