Floral Skater Shoes

The Supreme x Vans SS13 Collection is Inspired by a New Order Album Artwork

The Supreme x Vans SS13 capsule collection prettifies the punk culture with some fun floral patterns. Despite the obvious feminine touch, the pattern was taken from the album artwork of New Order’s 1983 'Power, Corruption & Lies.' Originally designed by English art director Peter Saville, the album cover was influenced greatly by French artist Henri Fantin-Latour’s 'A Basket of Roses' painting. With such history printed on a shoe, it is hard not to appreciate the Supreme x Vans SS13 collection.

Comprised of the popular SK8- Hi, Chukka and Era designs, the Supreme x Vans SS13 capsule collection will be available in New York, Los Angeles, London and Japan in early March. The SK8-Hi has premium suede toe box and canvas leather accents while the Chukka and Era boast canvas uppers with leather lining.
