Supra is showing some love to the Big Apple and celebrating their first store opening in the city with the new Supra 'NYC' Vaider. Supra's newest shoe features a skyscraper shoe tag and a gray and yellow color scheme reminiscent of the yellow taxis and drab skyscrapers that litter New York City.
The Supra 'NYC' Vaider is the second shoe, the first being the 'Paris' SKYTOP, designed to celebrate the launch of a new Supra store. Like the 'Paris' SKYTOP before it, the Supra 'NYC' Vaider will be released on the date of the store's opening, July 16th, and will be limited to 100 pairs. While I have never been the hugest fan of Supra's shoes, I do admire their designs for their recent city-celebrating exclusives. Each shoe has a unique color scheme that clearly pays homage to its respective city without going overboard. You can check out a few sample shots of the Supra 'NYC' Vaider here, and you can pick up a pair for yourself if you happen to be in the Big Apple this Saturday. Happy hunting, sneaker-heads.
