DIY Superheroine Tights

Fight Crime and Be Batgirl with These Easy to Follow Instructions

Geeky girls will likely go batty over these DIY superheroine tights.

With easy to follow instructions from creator Elise Jimenez of Geekilicious, you too can fight crime in style. Well, you could if you had access to the Bat cave and the courage to swing around between the buildings of Gotham City, but that's a discussion for another day.

The DIY superheroine tights in question only require a pair of tights, acrylic paint and some thick paper to create a stencil. The tutorial also helpfully points out that your legs are required as well. The stencils are put on while you're wearing the tights to ensure that the logos aren't stretched out when you actually wear them. The acrylic paint on the superheroine tights will take about an hour to dry alongside a blow dryer, so set aside an afternoon for it.

There are some really great creative options here, and you don't even necessarily need to put a bat logo on there, but why would you want any other logo on there?
