Superhero Fashion (Follow Up)

Fantasy Exhibit at the Met

This is a follow-up on a trend we published recently about the Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy exhibit.

We already told you the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York would be featuring a huge collection of fantasy costumes inspired by comic book characters and superhero movies, but now we know the exhibit was arranged into different categories.

The original superhero suits worn in Movies like Batman, Super Man and Iron Man were presented in conjunction with more sedate outfits by high-end designers such as Versace, Armani, Dolce and Gabbana, and John Galliano. The exhibit, which opens on Wednesday May 7th, will run through September 1.

Some of these outfits will absolutely kill at costume parties.
