Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling turns to its own aviation-based heritage to launch the new Super AVI line of premium timepieces.
The new collection pays homage to iconic planes, including the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk and the Havilland Mosquito, by incorporating their designs into those of the Super AVI timepieces. The new line consists of five versions of the watch, all of which present the same key features such as a 46mm stainless steel case (or 18k red gold), a 12-hour bezel with a GMT hand, and a Breitling B04 movement that boasts an impressive 70-hour power reserve.
Other features of the new watch include large, highly legible Arabic numerals on the dial and bezel, knurled bezels, and a second-time zone clock. These ultra-luxe watches can be purchased on Breitling's website, with prices ranging from $10,100-$23,650.
