'Sunflowers' Solar Collectors Make for a Mean-Green Botanical Garden

Flowers aren't exactly considered to be tough or global warming-fighting machines but Mags Harries and Lajos Heder have designed the ultimate mean-green botanical garden. The 'Sunflowers' solar collector garden consists of 15 elements that capture energy from the sun and power up during the night.

The installations are located in Texas and are "generated by a series of LEDs arranged in a flower." Each panel from the Sunflowers solar collector garden is custom made because of its unusual form and any additional power gets transmitted into a box for credit.
