The New SunChips Art Seen Packaging Celebrates 2023 Winners

The latest SunChips Art Seen Packaging has been debuted by the brand to put a spotlight on underrepresented artists from across the country and refresh the product's profile on store shelves.

The latest update as part of the initiative incorporates the artwork of three artists including Maruja Panti from Catanduanes, Philippines, Darnell "Solo" Kirkwood from Los Angeles and Megan Lewis from Baltimore. The artwork from each artist can be observed on the brand's Original, Harvest Cheddar and Garden Salsa snacks, which are hitting store shelves now. The brand is also donating $100,000 to YoungArts with an additional $1 donated for every Snap submitted between October 9 and November 5, 2023, up to $40,000.

Vice President of Marketing at Frito-Lay Rhasheda Boyd spoke on the latest SunChips Art Seen Packaging saying, "With less than 15% of art in permanent collections in the U.S. created by women and people of color, SunChips was inspired to drive a greater impact in the art community. Featuring these artists' work on our packaging in retailers nationwide allows us to do our part to offer more exposure for these talented individuals in unexpected ways."
