At first it would be easy to assume that this series of sun protection packaging was inspired by precious stones and crystals. Although its not clear whether that's the case at all, the sharp angles of the encasements do serve a specific purpose. The steeper the angle, the more protection the sunscreen offers. This is a clever way to immediately inform a consumer to crucial information.
A student project designed by Evgeniya Kuznetsova, the sun protection packaging series is comprised of five boxes all together. Created using bright oranges, yellows and pinks, it's hard not to be drawn to the design right away. It's effective on a number of levels and would make a great gift as well since the sun protection packaging is so decorative.
