The 'Silent Explorer 120' is a truly mind-boggling luxury yacht that is designed to be capable of carrying a submarine on-board whilst also having enough room to stash an electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL) on its roof.
Developed by Austrian company Silent Yachts, this catamaran will be able to carry with it the 'Nemo' submarine created by Dutch company U-Boat Worx. The sub can either be stored beside the swimming pool or in the yacht's garage. Elsewhere, the 'XP4' eVTOL developed by British startup VRCO will be able to take off from and land on a helipad on the luxury yacht's roof.
The advent of this supremely luxurious yacht appears to be part of a growing movement towards superyachts being able to be used in conjunction with other luxurious toys without necessarily having to become gratuitously large and cumbersome.
