Playfully Plush Garbs

Miss Malaprop's Stuffed Animal Dress was Made for Mardi Gras 2011

Although I knew that Mardi Gras festivities were out of this world, until I stumbled upon this stuffed animal dress, I didn't realize that it was also a costume party as well. Forget those dollar store metallic bead necklaces -- I want to head over to New Orleans just to play dress up.

Designed and created by New Orleans-based crafter Miss Malaprop, the stuffed animal dress looks a lot easier to make once you see the raw materials instead of the finished product. All she used was an oversized denim halter from a nearby thrift store and a plethora of plushies. With a mixture of machine sewing and hand sewing, the stuffed animal dress was born!

Although it's no Kermit the Frog shirt, the stuffed animal dress is definitely impressive.
