The European Institute of Design in Milan recently hosted its annual student runway showcase, which spotlighted daring and sculptural pieces. Titled 'Form (In) After,' the presentation featured eye-catching looks by emerging design talents that included Eros Tolentino, Binghua Mao, and Andrea Consalvo among others.
While Consalvo's signature look was a set of hot pink, deconstructed separates -- accented with Asian-themed patterns, and tie detailing -- Mao stunned fashion fans with an oversized and sculptural denim poncho.
Other standouts in the student runway showcase included a duvet-inspired dress by designer Antonio D'Addio, along with a caped formalwear look by Carlo Cimmino who showed off his love of winged creatures with a feather-inspired bodice, and sequined bird embroidery details.
