A bright orange plastic traffic barrel is upcycled into the Cloche Chair in the hands of New York based, Italian born, artist Carlo Sampietro. Founder of ‘The Street is in the House’ project, Sampietro creates exciting furniture and accessories out of discarded materials from the streets of New York. The Cloche Chair is the newest in the super-creative series.
The other funky creations in ‘The Street is in the House’ collection are awesome, but the Cloche Chair is definitely a favorite. Sampietro also converted old police barriers into a cool dining table.
