Designer Julian Consuerga has released a collection of rodent-inspired apparel via his brand Stray Rats. In taking literal notes from the labels title, Consuerga's lines feature images of large mice and the 'Stray Rats' sign.
Stray Rats has been taken note of by urban clothing aficionados in spite of Consuegra's minimalist approach to marketing. He has steered clear of visible campaigns, instead benefiting from an underground word of mouth culture. He has also maintained an independent spirit that abounds his company via his personal sketches, prints and packaging of each piece. This attaches a further sense of quality to Stray Rats as he has neither out sourced nor sold out for the sake of money and a simplified consumer model.
