Design studio Stills & Strokes is the creative force behind this Bikini Berlin retail installation. The personified pop-up space consists of visual elements and architectural details that are sculptural and colorful.
Drawing inspiration from pop art, this retail installation was showcased as a holiday brand activation inside popular shopping center Bikini Berlin. Rather than taking the traditionally festive route when it came to design, the Stills & Strokes team opted for elements that were unexpected and kid-friendly.
These included metallic and patterned wrapping paper that was layered strategically. In addition, boxed packaging was set up throughout the brand activation and was accented with Stills & Strokes' signature cartoon eye motifs. Founded by visual artist Melanie Homann and photographer Stefan Vorbeck, the studio appeals to younger demographics with its fearless use of color and playful design details -- both showcased in this captivating and interactive shopping mall popup.
