Telemedicine provider MISTR has announced a new partnership with Walmart that will see it providing free STI test kits to shoppers in a bid to help expand access to sexual health resources. The initiative will see select Walmart locations in Georgia offering the free at-home test kits now while supplies last with the results relayed to the consumer through MISTR's confidential and secure telemedicine platform. Consumers can then learn more about pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and long-term HIV care directly from MISTR.
CEO and Founder of MISTR Tristan Schukraft commented on the STI test kit initiative with Walmart saying, "There is an undeniable HIV crisis in Georgia with not enough resources available. This program addresses the community’s need for care options and increased sexual health education."
