2LG Designs the Stay Playful Helter Skelter Installation

Interior Studio 2LG repairs and displays the Stay Playful (When No One Feels Like Playing) installation in London's Spa Fields Park as a part of Clerkenwell Design Week. It is a bright sugar pink helter skelter which is a traditional British fairground ride and the landmark for the city's annual design event.

The studio is led by Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead who took charge of the design project. The two speak to Dezeen about the installation, stating "It was important to us to use an existing helter skelter as we wanted to harness the nostalgia and the history contained in the piece as well as give new life to an existing structure. We settled on this one based on its traditional shape and how disruptive that felt for the setting of Clerkenwell."
