Cup-Incorporating Illustrations (UPDATE)

These Starbucks Cup Doodles Go Off the Page and Onto Cups

It has been two years since we have seen Starbucks cup doodles from Tomoko Shintani. The Japanese artist draws cute and playful illustrations that incorporate the branded white disposable cups into the black ink drawings themselves. The mug might be used to complete a circle, for example, or will otherwise be cleverly integrated into the picture as the adorably anamorphic art extends from the notepad onto the cup.

The expanded collection of Starbucks cup doodles can be seen on Tomoko Shintani's Facebook page. The whimsical drawings tend to feature small children playing with different animals. From a little boy playing guitar with a cymbals-clashing bear to a young girl and her feline friend enjoying a beverage, the art has a variety of fun and lovely topics.
