The Star Light, Star Bright Project Will Be an Interactive Art Piece

The project Star Light, Star Bright was proposed by the art group Guerilla Dance Project, and was the first winner of the 'Smart Oxford Playable City Commission.'

The artistic initiative will take place at night, where pressure-sensitive lights will be embedded into Oxford city's streets. It will involve the work of pedestrians, who's purpose it will be to work together to map constellations from the night sky. Each "star," or floor light, will shine brighter as others are activated. Once the final star is activated, it will cue the "super bright beams of light – bathing people beneath in a constellation of stars."

This artistic Star Light, Star Bright project infuses tech and interactive elements to create a link between natural phenomenons and urban environments.
