With the number of consumers living alone only on the rise, major brands are beginning to accommodate them with products that suit their lifestyle like the KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixer.
Designed with the Millennial, urban-dwelling consumer in mind the mixer is 20% smaller than the iconic original mixer and 25% lighter. To put it into context, while the original KitchenAid mixer could yield 10 dozen cookies, the new, smaller design can yield about 5 dozen.
Explaining the reasoning behind the new appliance, Derek Ernst, Global Marketing Director for KitchenAid said, "Particularly among millennials, urban dwellers and empty nesters we saw a desire for a smaller mixer that provides the same overall features of our larger models."
The KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixer is set to be available in June of this year for $400.
