Effortlessly put together furniture is a theme right now in the industrial design industry since it eliminates a lot of materials while simplifying the manufacturing process, which leads to a more eco-friendly production process; the Stack Furniture collection is the latest creation in this specific category. The Stack Furniture pieces require absolutely no nails, glue or bolts to stay together. Instead, they rely on intricate interlocking shapes and pins made out of birch plywood to do just that.
Conceived by Bulgarian designer and National Academy of Fine Arts graduate Konstantin Achkov, the Stack Furniture collection is comprised of stools, tables and chairs. They come flat-packed and are easily assembled, dismantled, transported and repaired.
Presented during Sofia Design Week, the Stack Furniture collection will be manufactured by Tenon.
