The Spiral Garden Pavilion is another eco-friendly architectural venture from conceptual sculptor Michael Jantzen.
Comprised of four adjustable panels, the slotted outdoor hangout is made from sustainably grown wood and powered by a large solar panel on the roof. Each panel can be opened and closed in a multitude of positions and slide around the center axis similar to how a set of revolving doors do.
Resting atop a circular disk, the twirling structure resembles an outdoor patio set with slatted wood that allows light to leak into the center. The solar panel charges batteries inside the retreat space to power its main light fixture. These batteries can also be used to run electronic devices and small appliances for anyone who wants to use the space for a more interactive retreat.
