Affordable skincare and beauty brand The Ordinary is set to expand its selection of offerings in the summer with the addition of a line of SPFs, which boast mineral formulas that enable them to be less irritating to sensitive skin types, and don't contain many of the harmful ingredients chemical alternatives have.
The brand's founder, Tata Harper, explained the benefits of the formula by saying, "I prefer mineral sunscreen because of the way it works as a physical barrier and because of the potential health risks linked to chemical sunscreens, particularly oxybenzone, which can affect hormones and cause allergies."
The SPFs are set to launch in the coming weeks at The Ordinary stores, with affordable prices that will make them accessible to all.
