Ali Mitton photographed bombshell Ashley Smith on a hippie roadtrip through the Californian desert for the latest Spell Designs lookbook.
The Australian label considered Ashley Smith a "muse" since she first appeared in a 2010 issue of Russh Magazine. Now, finally, the label was able to make its dream of working with her a reality. Smith perfectly embodies the free-spirited, bohemian vibe of the company as she sojourns across the open road with her gruff, bearded and heavily-tatooed companion, decked out in loose, drapey garments with bold patterns and bright florals.
The garments are accessorized with leather belts, sterling silver jewelry, adornments hand-carved from wood and bone, along with antique pieces and treasures, all of which complete the hippie look.
