American entertainment company A24 has released a special edition film discpack of the Oscar-nominated film, The Lighthouse. The film discpack is made for film memorabilia collectors or consumers who enjoy the film. The Lighthouse was written and directed by Robert Eggers and released in 2019. The story follows two lighthouse keepers who try to maintain their sanity while living on a remote and mysterious New England island in the 1890s.
The special edition film discpack comprises a standard Blu-ray disc with 4K UHD resolution with an HDR master. The discpack also features original artwork by visual artist Tobias Kaspar. It has a 64-page interior booklet with an embossed wave-textured slipcase. The content in the disc includes a director's commentary with Robert Eggers, an exclusive mini-documentary regarding composer Mark Korven, an interview with costume designer Linda Mui, and deleted scenes.
The booklet's content includes storyboard excerpts by David Cullen, production design drawings by Craig Lathrop, behind-the-scenes photography by Eric Chakeen, and a bib-front shirt pattern made by Marvin Schlichting to Linda Muir's design.
